In Memoriam | Dr. Jim Campbell

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we express our condolences regarding the sudden passing of Dr. Jim Campbell.

Our team at the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) would like to take a moment to wish his family and colleagues in the FNHA Northern Region the best during this difficult time. May they find strength in his legacy of dedication and compassion within the First Nations Health Authority.

Jim played a pivotal role in building relationships, trust, and integrity with IRSSS and dedicated his time and energy to assisting the North. He consistently sought ways to ensure the well-being of the communities that he served.

The time that Jim had with FNHA Northern Region had a meaningful impact, as he was a true advocate for effective programs and dedicated himself to aiding supports for the North, such as the Trauma Informed Cultural Support Team at IRSSS.

Jim will be remembered for his commitment to making a positive impact. May we honour his legacy by continuing this important work to which he was so dedicated. We join together in expressing our deepest sympathy and send our thoughts to those who shared Jim’s vision and journey.
