Donor Engagement & Stewardship – Philanthropy Coordinator
Vancouver, BC / Full-Time Position
The Donor Engagement & Stewardship – Philanthropy Coordinator plays a key role in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors and supporters. This position is focused on enhancing donor experience through engagement, stewardship initiatives, and relationship-based communications that strengthen long-term commitment to the organization’s mission. This is a relationship-centered role that collaborates closely with internal teams while maintaining a clear distinction from donation processing functions.
This position requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, experience in donor relations, fundraising, or community engagement, and a high level of organizational and project management skills. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 40-60% in-office requirement (based on approval) in our Admin Office at the Vancouver Public Library in Vancouver, BC.

Donation Management & Administration– Philanthropy Coordinator

The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) is seeking a detail-oriented and systems-focused Donation Management & Administration – Philanthropy Coordinator to support the integrity and administration of our donor operations.
This role is responsible for the accurate processing, reconciliation, and recording of donations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and CRA requirements. The position plays a critical role in maintaining donor data integrity and supporting financial accountability, while working collaboratively across Finance and Philanthropy teams.
This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and analytical skills, and experience in donation processing, database management, or financial administration. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 40-60% in-office requirement (based on approval) in our Admin Office at the Vancouver Public Library in Vancouver, BC.
