SUPPORT 24/7 CRISIS CARE

Make a Donation Today.

Every day, someone reaches out to the Lamathut Crisis Line - a 24/7, toll-free service for those impacted by colonial and gender-based violence.

Staffed by compassionate Indigenous telehealth workers and counsellors, Lamathut offers free, confidential support grounded in cultural safety, understanding, and care.

Last year, the Crisis Line answered an average of 303 calls each month. Your donation ensures that when someone calls, a caring voice is always there to listen.

GIVING MONTHLY MEANS MORE

Extend a Lifeline to Those in Need.

Your gift ensures that when someone calls, a caring voice is there to listen. As we look ahead, your support will help Lamathut reach more Survivors, families, and communities across the province. It costs an average of $225 to answer one call, but every contribution helps ensure that no call for help goes unanswered.

For many, the Crisis Line is the only consistent support they can rely on. Some callers also find a vital cultural connection here. I recall one person who longed for that connection, and in response a staff member drummed and sang. It was exactly what they needed.

The work is heavy, but deeply rewarding. Every call matters - and without this line, too many would fall through the cracks.”
