Stand with Survivors on Truth & Reconciliation Day
Give Strength, Healing and Hope on Tuesday, September 30th.
September 30th is National Truth and Reconciliation Day, a time to honour the children who never came home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities forever impacted. It is a day to remember the truth, reflect on our shared history, and take action toward reconciliation.
A meaningful way to take action today is by making a gift that directly empowers Indigenous Survivors and families with the urgent care, cultural support, and healing they need, when they need it most.
There are also other meaningful ways you can show your support today:
Wear orange to honour Orange Shirt Day and show your support for the Every Child Matters movement.
Join a memorial walk, ceremony, or community event to stand in solidarity with Survivors.
Learn and share the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 94 Calls to Action.
Discuss the history and lasting impacts of residential schools with your family, friends, and community.
Together, these actions ensure that the truth is never forgotten and that reconciliation moves forward.
But reconciliation also requires action.
Please give today. Your support directly helps Survivors and families with the urgent care and healing they need.
