Adrienne Greyeyes
Day School Coordinator
Adrienne Greyeyes is a nehiyaw from the Bigstone Cree Nation. She was born and raised on Dane-zaa territory in Treaty 8, also known as Fort St. John. She continues to live on Treaty 8 territory while raising her two sons with her husband.
Adrienne has her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University and practices both traditional and contemporary art forms with a focus on beading and utilizing traditional methods of representing identity. In addition, Adrienne has 11 years experience advocating for Indigenous children, youth and families involved in the child protection system.
She joined the IRSSS team by providing support and advocacy to Survivors as a Day School Coordinator. Adrienne strongly believes in utilizing and honouring traditional ways of understanding and healing to continue to support our communities needs.
