Administrative Assistant

My name is Marlaine Joe, my Indian name is Łändé, I belong to the wolf clan. I am Southern Tutchone from Champagne & Aishihik First Nation in the Yukon Territory. Where I am from, we love being on the land, exploring our traditional territory with my family and my children, I am a mother to 3 wonderful children.

I originally moved to Prince George to study at UNBC, with a focus on First Nation studies, I also hold an Administrative Assistant certificate and have been providing front-line customer service and admin support for over 20 years. I have worked in the public sector as well First Nation organizations. I love learning and helping and I am excited to be joining the Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
