Thursday, November 21, 2024 marks the gala celebration of the Indian Residential School Survivor Society’s 30 year anniversary.
The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) vehemently condemns the dissemination of residential school denialism within municipal spheres, particularly concerning recent actions in Quesnel, BC.
In consideration of the discussions surrounding mental health and wellness providers with the First Nations Health Authority, the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) would like to affirm that our services remain available.
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we express our condolences regarding the sudden passing of Dr. Jim Campbell.

IRSSS supports survivors and their families with counselling, workshops and culturally based healing support.
With your generous donations we were able to visit over 50 communities, and supported over 4,200 calls through our Lamathut Crisis line this past year.
