In-Person Claimant Support Available Monthly in Prince George

The Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS) is pleased to offer monthly in-person claimant support appointments in Prince George for individuals affected by the Indian Hospital Settlement and Indian Boarding Homes Class Action.

IRSSS Health and Wellness Coordinator Henry Morgan will be available each month to provide one-on-one support to claimants navigating the settlement process. These appointments are designed to help individuals establish an initial relationship with IRSSS, receive guidance throughout the claims process, and connect with legal representatives supporting claim submissions.

Appointments are available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with one-hour time slots offered throughout the day (excluding the lunch hour from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.).

Culturally Safe and Trauma-Informed Support

IRSSS provides culturally safe, trauma-informed health and wellness support for claimants affected by the Indian Hospital Settlement and Indian Boarding Homes Class Action settlement processes.

These services are available at no cost and are grounded in First Nations values, cultural safety, and community wellness practices. Support is available throughout the claims journey, with a focus on mental, emotional, spiritual, and cultural well-being.
