Caitlyn Kerr (She/Her) is of Heiltsuk and mixed European descent. As Philanthropy Manager at the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS), Caitlyn leads donor engagement strategies with a focus on cultivation for long-term relationships. She brings experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, and sustainable event management. She is committed to building authentic relationships that strengthen community support.
As an intergenerational Survivor and settler woman, Caitlyn looks to bring together Indigenous and Western approaches to philanthropy to help decolonize giving practices and provide pathways for collaboration and understanding through her work. Guided by values of transparency, respect, empathy, and community impact, she approaches philanthropy as a collaborative effort and is passionate about creating opportunities for individuals and organizations to walk along Survivors and their families in truth, justice, and healing.
