Tracy London

Philanthropy Lead

I am a member of Wet’suwet’en First Nation, raised in Witset (formerly Moricetown). I am of Gitxsan-Wet’suwet’en decent from the Lax Gibuu - House of Spookw, raised in the Wet’suwet’en Traditional Governance system with the Gitim’den Clan.

My name is Tracy London. I acknowledge and give respects to where I live and work on the ancestral unceded territories of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼʷa:n̓ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen),  kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō (Sto:lo), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples. I am committed to working in solidarity to fight the on-going impacts of colonization and the enduring legacy of residential schools on Indigenous peoples. I strongly support IRSSS’ work to reclaim and foster safe spaces for emotional, spiritual, and cultural healing.

My role with the Indian Residential School Survivors Society is to co-create community with our donors who stand by survivors, intergenerational survivors, and communities. Our vision is a donor community who pulls together to ensure that IRSSS has the necessary funds every year to serve and support all individuals and communities in their healing journeys. I have over 25 years of fundraising and leadership experience. Prior to joining IRSSS, I was the executive director at a national environmental law charity.

I hold a Juris Doctor (law) and Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto.
