IRSSS is expressing deep concern following repeated acts of racist vandalism on the Orange Bridge and the “Every Child Matters” message in Port Alberni, located on the territory of Tseshaht First Nation.

IRSSS offices locations will be closed from Monday, December 22, 2025, to Friday, January 2, 2026. Please be assured that our Lamathut 24/7 Crisis Line will remain open throughout the holiday season for anyone in urgent need.

September 30th is National Truth and Reconciliation Day, a day to remember the truth, reflect on our shared history, and take action toward reconciliation.

On September 30th every donut sold at participating Tim Hortons locations will directly benefit Indigenous-led charities, including IRSSS.

For survivors, their families, and impacted communities, the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation can be deeply emotional and stressful. At IRSSS, we stand with you, offering support, resources, and a listening ear.
